Lap dances just got more educational.
Strippers from a Long Island jiggle joint strutted their stuff on the Nassau County courthouse steps today, rallying for a pole tax to benefit local schools.
"We just want to give back to our communities, because the state is cutting back on school aid," said Carmella Cioffi, 22. "The government is always trying to raise taxes and here we are saying raise our taxes."

The club the girls work for, Illusions, in Deer Park, will start charging a $5 entry fee starting this weekend and is hoping that the state implements legislation to tax lap dances.
Spokesman Todd Shapiro said the money will be sent to the State Department of Taxation and Finance.
