• graduated from Harvard with a political science degree
• is a best selling author
• had syndicated radio show
• served on the Kennedy School of Government Board at Harvard
• volunteered with the USO (group that entertains U.S. servicemen and women serving abroad)
• is a political commentator
• is a political blogger

Of course anyone has the right to run, but if you really think she is as qualified as Al Franken you are either woefully ignorant or you have a conservative agenda against Senator-elect Franken.

Well it is Louisiana so just about anything is possible.They have long history of electing all kinds lol,they have senator now who was implicated in prostitution ring(Vetter).And just to show I can be bi-partisan I will give the example of a dem who fit that bill very nicely as well who said some real funny stuff as well as being corrupt as hell but that didn't stop him from being elected.His name was Edwin Edwards and before one of his comeback elections in 1983 he said.

On yesterday's Rachel Maddow Show there was a segment on Sen. David Vitter. Rachel commented that he really ought to have a better record on funds for disaster preparations, especially if his opponent's name is "Stormy"!
