Stephen Bannon tried to talk Trump out of ordering the strike on Syria

Chief strategist Stephen Bannon apparently wasn't behind President Trump's decision to launch a missile strike against Syria — but Trump went ahead and ordered it anyway. Daily Intelligencer's Gabriel Sherman reported Friday that Bannon, long considered a key Trump influencer, argued that the Syrian strike contradicted Trump's "America First" doctrine. "Steve doesn't think we belong there," a Bannon ally told Sherman.

The fact that Trump went ahead with the strike despite Bannon's opposition is further indication of the decline of Bannon's power and the rise of Trump son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner's, Sherman said:

The debate over Syria is the latest fault line that has opened up in the once close Bannon-Kushner relationship. "During the campaign and transition, they had an almost uncle-nephew thing going," one Bannon associate said. But in recent weeks, Kushner and Bannon have clashed over the direction of Trump's agenda. While the press has covered it as a personality feud, Bannon allies say the rift is about policy differences. "The press is calling it fighting, we call it debating," Bannon told an associate, according to a source. On a board in his West Wing office, Bannon keeps a list of promises Trump made to populist voters. Kushner, whose portfolio has ballooned in recent weeks, seems much less interested in keeping those promises.

Well it sure seemed that way right from the get go.
Kushner, great guy from a criminal family. The Mossads boy in the White House.

You know what else was destroyed in that airfield strike? The narrative that President Trump is in the back pocket of Putin or his "butt buddy" as some here have put it. If anyone was ass up, face down to Putin, it was our last president, hence his infamous red line that went unenforced. That reset button though.

Could be. We shall see. One ineffectual show of protest over Assad using gas on his own people hasn't got me convinced yet.

Oh you mean the red line congressional republicans overwhelmingly opposed him enforcing?

Yeah, Obama sure was ass up, face down for Putin these last three years. Tell us more about that, Mr. Wizard ;)

Ahh yes, congress' red line. We've already covered this elsewhere, but President Obama bombed the shit outta Libya without congress' approval beforehand.

Assad and Putin called Obama's bluff, and like a pussy, he ran to congress for cover, knowing full well they were set against it.

That's leadership, liberals and gentlemen.

Of course Putin called Obama's bluff.

If someone tells me they are bluffing, I'm gonna call it too :1orglaugh

Call me a conspiracy nut, but everything just seems like Putin and Trump are playing us all. I feel like all of this is orchestrated.

Why do Trump even bother to have paid State and Defense Secretaries when he relies on Ivanka, who has an unpaid unofficial counselling job at the White House and can do the job of both Mattis and Tillerson ?

The reason Obama's bosses didn't attack Syria with US bomb strikes and actual US soldiers is because thier mercenary army did such a great job killing, raping, hacking to peices, and beheaded Libyans that they figured they'd do ok with Syria as well.
Then again the Libyans did not fight back at all.
The Syrians did.
Now that they know theyre mercenaries can not beat Syria they have resorted to the next plan:
Use a false flag gas attack as an excuse to lob a billion dollars in bombs into Syria. Have the media portray Assad as a crazy psycho. Show the world what crazy fucks we are by attacking Syria without any proof they did anything wrong. Show the world how we are on the bearded fuckers side by attacking the one country who is fighting them. Then maybe roll in the soldiers and war machines to destroy the country and kill the leader.

Thats where we are at now.

Of course you can debate all you want using the info the Fake News pputs in your heads but what I said is the reality of it.
The bearded mercenaries failed to take down Syria. Now its time to do the job ourselves whether the people want it or not and even it starts WWIII.
As long as Israel and the Suadis and most of all the Central Bank gets what it wants is all that matters.
