This is on the corner of Winchester and Kirby Parkway in Memphis. It's an area I know very well. It's pretty bad there right now. Pretty thugged out. Directly across the street are two practically abandon shopping centers. Both big chain groceries left. The neighborhood itself is relatively impoverished.
The statue itself cost $260,000.00 (that's like $150 EU for our foreign guests:wave2
