The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a huge fan of songs that contain very harmonized vocal work. Now, I'm not just referring to songs that are made by groups such as Boyz II Men. Although they sound great, I much prefer ROCK songs that contain harmonized vocals. But, it seems as if the selection of rock songs (or groups) that contain great harmonies is somewhat limited.
I'm sure most of you will agree, but most of the crap that you hear, especially newer stuff, is full of screaming and poor lead singing, backed by horrible sounding jerks. Hardly anybody takes the time to harmonize their vocals anymore, which is sad. Personally, I love harmonized vocal work and I would like to find a wider variety of music that contains it, other than the stuff that I already have.
So, I figured we could post our some of our favorites here, in case there are more people out there who are like me.
Here are some of my favorites, just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about (just listen to the background vocal work that's being done and the overall harmony, mostly of the choruses)...
