If you are for the war, may the god i don't believe in save your soul from eternal damnation. For those who are against the war, i think it's safe to say you'd have to have a few screws loose to vote for john mccain. For anti-war people, the tougher question is casting a vote for the Democrats. Either one, obama or clinton, doesn't exactly offer much of a solution. Clinton voted for the war and says she is against it now because she didn't have all the info when she orginally voted. But isn't she lying, considering there were people who had the same info but voted against the war in congress, not to mention the thousands of citizens on the streets and academics in the ivory towers who were against the war before it started? Clinton is either bullshitting you about not having the info, or she is just extremely incompetent to have authorized bush to use ***** in iraq. Either way, isn't she trash?
Now Obama seemingly offers a better alternative, considering he was against the war from the start, but i ask you good samaritan, how against something can you be when you vote to fund it over and over again in congress like obama does with the war? For example, dennis kucinich not only opposed the war but votes against funding it in congress? Jeez, there's a novel concept, stick to your principles and don't talk out of both sides of your mouth. Now my final point is that, regardless of who the politician is, regardless of what party they are in, isn't something like war too important to leave up to representatives who so often get us in to catastrophes and then sheepishly proclaim their innocence? Whatever happened to cutting the king's head off?
