that he/she wants to be a porn star ... what's your reaction (not necessarily immediate)? do you support it? do you end things?
just as some pornstars enter the industry partner-free, others have significant others at home. is it liberation for many of these men and women to 'allow' their partners to enter the industry while standing by their side or are these persons 'soft'/'spineless' for staying with the person who all of a sudden has changed the whole dynamic of their relationship. I see pornstars such as veronica av luv who entered after years and years of marriage (R.I.P. Hans Av Luv). Hans seemingly supported it as he was actively involved in her porn life (shooting scenes with her or of her and taking nude pictures etc.). of course they may have always been free-spiritied (maybe open relationship or swingers etc) and may have extensively discussed her going into porn beforehand. How would you feel if the person you were with wanted this life (which isn't a bad one, so don't think im looking down on pornstars or the industry because i certainly need them around)? I just imagine how hard it can potentially be when you are going along just fine in a relationship having sex with only each other and then now your partner is having sex with multiple persons while you are still 'bound' to regular relationship restrictions.
imo, it is one thing when you meet a partner who is ALREADY in the industry. you off-the-bat know what you are getting yourself into so you really don't have a right to ask them to stop. but it is a whole other ball game when they weren't and now they want to be and have you subjected to watching other persons sexually please them (even though they will swear that they are just faking it and it is just 'work')
