The cats have unfortunately come down with a case of ticks and so I bought this Sergeant's Flea and Tick powder, and I couldn't figure out why he was acting very strange. Meowing quite a bit and pacing around my pad. So after I looked for more info on this "medicine" I found a very disturbing site that had many numerous people in the same position, for both their dogs and their cats. What I found was most troubling:

I went over many of the stories and almost got sick to my stomach that a product like this could be on the market. Many dog and cat deaths in a horrible and painful way. I feel ashamed and sick I didn't research the powder more in-depth. Thankfully for the site I have many people to talk to and there are topics devoted to class-action suits because of this poison on the market.
Very sad to see these harmless pets suffer and sometimes die from this. My cat had to be washed several times (very difficult) and now I have to take more action in the house. This is very upsetting. My cat lost a patch of about 5 by 3 inches of skin on chest I think because of the poison. I actually found a pick similar to what he has to suffer through:
