should PROSTITUTION BE LEGAL

Prostitute's customers should be arrested, not the prostitute herself.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Prostitute's customers should be arrested, not the prostitute herself.

Not all prostitutes are women and not all customers are men.

And my feeling is that both prostitution and drugs should be decriminalized. Things like human trafficking, sex slavery, child prostitution, money laundering, smuggling (people or drugs) should still be illegal. But this thing where vice cops and the court systems waste billions of dollars and countless man hours enforcing morality and nanny state laws, it's done nothing but create a criminal class (and let's be honest here - only/mainly lower income people go to jail for these crimes) and distract them from focusing on "real" crimes. The criminal justice system in the United States is really just in place to support the industry of locking up people. Corrections Corp. of America (CAW) trades for $3/share and pays a dividend that's over 9%, if anyone wants to get in on the action.

It's legal in Canada but public prostitution is illegal. The Supreme Court of Canada just made new laws last week. I think it's now legal to enter a brothel or bawdy house or massage parlor for sexual services unless someone here can justify the new Canadian prostitution laws in layman's terms for me.

This topic should be in the Red Lights thread

Selling's legal, fucking's legal. Why isn't selling fucking, legal?- George Carlin.

Do it like they have it in Nevada......

Set up locations away from schools/churches/business/etc. Set it up in a remote location where the only people going to that area are going for Sex. Let those know that anyone caught trying to solicit on the street will be jailed and heavily fined.

Make it so that it is away from everyone and everything. Then you do like Nevada........you set up locations where the women are tested regularly. The income is taxed and the business is regulated with "spot checks" allowable.

Get it of the streets, have the women tested and their income reported and all monies raised - taxed

Now - the chances of this ever happening in the USA? About the same as Kim Jong-Un being elected POTUS

Yes it should be legal. It's a service; a very personal service. There should be some regulation as far as making sure the prostitutes are healthy and not disease carriers, but other than that, it should be legal.
