2007 is the 40th anniversary of two of the most influential events in Pop culture history.The release of the Beatles album "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" ranked #1 on Rolling Stone's the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Also that summer of 1967 was known as the "Summer of Love" during which many young people expressed a new way of living which rejected most of the conventional("Square") lifestyles they saw their parents with.Rejecting that life is only about the accumation of material goods and all the other ills of racism,sexism that they saw all around them.While the utopian world they dreamed of may not be our world of today they have had a lasting effect on our culture.Even if many of you are too young to remember these events your world has been very much effected by them musically,socially and politically.
