anybody ever heard of it? it's a pretty cool virtual world game that i've been playing for the last 4 months. most people compare it to The Sims Online (TSO) and many SL players are "converts" from tso.
quick overview for those who don't have a clue (as i didn't until someone told me about it):
it's a virtual world where you can pretty much do anything you would do in Real Life (RL), plus some cool/interesting extras that u cant do ini rl:
-u can look like whatever u want, i've seen *******, angels, vampires...u name it
-u can fly and teleport around the sl world
-u never die
like RL, it has an economy, it's own currency, you can own or rent real estate. there are goods and services for sale, and if you can learn certain skills you can become an entrepeneur yourself.
it also has entertainment, niteclubs, beaches, movie theaters, pretty much anything available in rl.
anyway...not a commercial for the game just an fyi. if anyone has any experiences with sl, i'd love to hear.
