San Diego Catholic Diocese Could Declare Bankruptcy to Pay Hundreds of Sex Abuse Victims

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I don't know about the Devil, but it certainly is an incurable disease. I never had much interest in Catholicism, although a great many of my family were devote to the religion. I personally always found it very hypocritical. I always felt it was an unnecessary part, of being a good Christian, or even just a believer in Jesus and his ways. The Catholics always seem to make everything a little moor difficult then it needs to be. Between confessing your sins to a mortal man, which is my biggest issue, to pre marriage consoling if you want to be married in their church, to the book they open, to see just how generous you've been to the church, it's all very annoying and hypocritical to me. As far as your point goes, it should be just as much of a crime to cover it up, as it is to commit the crime itself. The courts should make them sell off assets before allowing bankruptcy.
