Hey everyone
Some of you know, some of you don't, but in my spare time, I'm trying to take over the world by making independent movies. To that end, I work with a lot of folks who are just amazing people.
One of those amazing people was the husband of my wife's best friend. I had met him through her, and he ran a web design company, so I hooked up with him to design the website for my entertainment biz. He was doing a lot of really cool stuff with it, to make it completely and easily accessible for me and the others of the company to edit, which gave us incredible flexibility in management of our site. It hasn't launched yet, so I can't point you to it until we have a ton of content there.
But last week, on Saturday the 23rd, he ****** away very suddenly, which was a total shock and disappointment. He was a big hockey nut, and was playing hockey when he came off the ice short of breath. A few minutes later he gasped a couple times, and then collapsed and left us forever. As my wife and I are great friends with he and his wife, this was a completely devastating moment. He was only 30, and had no history of heart trouble.
That was the saddest funeral I've ever had to be a part of.
I can only try to honor him appropriately with the web site he designed for my company. So long and farewell, my friend.
