The Blues HOF in Memphis. Lucille would fetch a pretty penny that's for sure.A true genius and legend. Love his work....he'll be greatly missed. Lucille should go straight to Cleveland I would think....at least I sure hope she does.
Interesting to note his penchant for singing only when he wasn't playing his beloved big, fat double-humbucker hollow-bodied baby.
R.I.P. B.B....king of the blues.
I mentioned Cleveland because he was the type of artist who transcended his genre. How many rock & rollers have been turned on to the blues largely because of him? Hopefully, he has provided for something in his will....otherwise, yeah, somebody's going to get a lot of money for her.
I find it impossible to sing while playing lead so I hear you. It's a lot easier if you're playing rhythm though. My *** has an Ibanez that is very similar to Lucille. He's not much of a blues player though so he doesn't pick it up very often but it sure looks good hanging on his wall!
