Revenge!

Hey all.
My GF, an estate agent/realtor, is having trouble at work, with clients who are being unnecessarily nasty/threatening to her.
She has been shouted at 10 times today, on the phone and in person.
She is extremely good at her job, so its not an issue of ineptitude or inefficiency; just people being PROPER assholes.
As she is watching Revnge on TV at the moment, she asked if I knew of any way to get back at these people ie revenge on a small scale.
I am not talking about shooting them, more like placing their contact details on a dodgy contact site, dumping manure on their drive, reporting them to Child Services etc.
Naturally I wondered if any esteemed members had any good ideas!

If your girlfriend is truly a professional, she'll find a way to handle this situation in a professional manner. And while it is fun to contemplate (we all do it from time to time), actually planning some childish way to get revenge on a client, no matter how much of an asshole they might be, is the epitome of unprofessional behavior. She needs to "man up", stop being passive-aggressive and simply tell this client that yelling at her is not acceptable behavior. If done in a calm, reasonable manner, they may stop. If they don't stop, then she should tell them that she can no longer represent them in this or any future dealings.

Think about it... if she gets caught doing something silly (and probably illegal), they'll simply report her to whatever regulatory authority that oversees Realtor ethics where she lives, and she'll lose her license and her job. Who wins in the end there?

As other members have already said, have a cup of man the fuck up and get over it.

I get shouted at on a daily basis and I have come to learn two things,

1. People are assholes.

2. Why do I give a shit what said asshole thinks? If I have done my job to the best of my ability and they still aren't happy, then nothing will make them happy.

Course if she does resort to childish tactics (incidentally I love how you class child services as a small scale) then your as much an asshole as the people getting in her face and she deserves everything coming to her.

She has chosen to work in the public sector, if she cant handle a few people raising their voice at her, go stack beans in the local supermarket.

Make an ad on Craig's List and list the person's number. Their phone will be blowing up for the next few weeks. I wouldn't recommend actually doing it because of the ethical implications, but it still sounds like a good prank. :angels:

3) Stuff rag in bottle, light and throw at target's address.

Calling child services on a person for the purposes of revenge, is as about a fucked up thing as you can do. It's a chickenshit move, and if you do it, you deserve EVERYTHING you get in the end. Tell her to nut up, or shut up. If she can't yell back, she deserves to be treated like she's being treated.

I not only get yelled at, I get yelled at by people you see on TV. The first thing she might want to try .........telling people to stop fuckin' yelling at her. If they don't, yell back. Treat these people with the contempt that they deserve. And at all times, let them know who is in actual control of the environment they are in. If they think they're pissed now, just think how pissed they'll be when she stops trying.

Revenge is messy and for losers. Winners use scathing, whithering contempt and sarcasm as a weapon. And we use it well.

Yeah, agreed with the rest of the responses here - tell her to grow a pair and move on. She works in customer service, some customers are going to be douchebags. I myself got called fat, ugly, a slut/whore and was told to kill myself pretty much every day of last week. Do you see me trying to find these peoples contact info so I can fuck with them? Nope, because dickwads like that aren't worth the time of day, especially moreso because they have done nothing positive for me, ever. These people are her CLIENTS...she's there to work for them...its not fair that they're disrespecting her, but working in customer service, you kind of have to take their anger and resolve any issues they may have. If they're being so bad that she can't take it, then she needs to remove them as her client and direct them to another real estate agent and move on.
