One of my main interets, along with Star Wars, Chelsea and Porn has to be video games! I have started collecting. Here is what I have so far


Sega Master System
Sega Mega Drive
Sega Mega Drive II
Sega Mega CD
Sega Mega CD II
Sega Saturn (underrated console)
Sega Dreamcast
Nes
Super Nintendo
Nintendo 64
Gamecube (most underrated console ever)
Playstation 2 (the only thing I collect for this is dust)
X Box
Nintendo DS


I also have a lot of games for these systems, at the moment I am collecting mostly for the Saturn, I remember when this system came out, I slagged it off (having not even played it) but I've really come to love this system, yeah it's got bad graphics and shitty loading times, but it's quite fun. I'm not really into the Playstation as much, it's ok for the casual gamer (same could be said about others on my list) but the PS2 just collects dust in my cupboard, though I spent hours playing it for the GTA games, simply amazing.

My favorite is the Gamecube (though it's not exactly retro) I could have jumped on the casual gamer bandwagon and said it was rubbish (without even giving it a chance) but I bought one, and I love it. I think it's aimed at younger people though, very good for multiplayer games.

Still each to their own.

Okaaaay. Avid gamer there, huh?

Well, let's see. Apart from my PC, which I use for games from time to time (FarCry rocks, BTW), I only have a PSX and a PS2. Looking to buy an XBox in the future, though, simply so I can play DOA XBV and DOA Ultimate, as well as a few other 'XBox only' titles.

Top 5 games of all time? Can't really say. Depends on what I feel like playing and when. I'd have to say the Final Fantasy series, MGS series and Gran Turismo series all rank pretty high with me. Also, Grandia for the PSX was awesome, IMHO. Max Payne series (couldn't leave that out, considering my sig! LOL!), Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Bloodrayne (Can't wait to buy the second one), any Tom Clancy games....

That's about all I can think of. Looking to buy The Punisher in the near future, and make my first foray into the world of GTA (catch up with the rest of the gaming population)

I still have my Atari, NES, SNES, and PS1, which are the things that I play the most. We have a PS2 but I could never really get into those games like I could Super Mario Bros. lol

Hmm....looks like I'm a relative newbie as far as consoles go, then. My first console was the PSX, and that was waaay back in 1999/2000. Back when I first started using message boards, too, come to think of it. My screenname was LiteHawk back then....

Too many games and too many favourites to mention in one post....

The Dreamcast was probably my all time fave console. Had the largest number of games that I fell in love with.

The game I spent the most hours on: Phantasy Star Online on the GC! My main character had about 1300 hours racked up! :eek:

in my closet there are:

- Sega DreamCast (Shenmue is by far it's BEST game and one of the best of all time)
- Nintendo Gameboy Color
- Playstation
- Playstation 2 (connected to TV)
- Nintendo GameCube (connected to TV)

As for best game, i'm fan of Tomb Raider series and i believe that TR1 was a
revolutionary game when it came up, i love it!!!

Shenmue II was loads better! Glad I was in the UK at the time of its release, as America did not get it on DC.

Skies of Arcadia is simply the best RPG ever IMO. Blows away any Final Fantasy!

Blasphemy!!

Resident Evil is ok, but there really is none of the atmosphere or any of the psychological horror from the Silent Hill games. RE is just zombies and experiments gone wrong. Silent Hill is actually scary!

silent hill monster are a way more crazy designed than Resident Evil zombies, you are right here 001
but you should try the 4th RE episode, monster aren't zombies, they are human converted to satanic ideas, and there is also some crazy monster... this fourth episode is a huge turn in Resident Evil history... I will not say more : just play hit
