The cut and pasting from that site is an epidemic in colleges and universities today. Anyway, Wikipedia is right on the matter, either way.

When you have staunch supporters of piracy bills basically recanting and making statements like "well we really don't understand it" and "it's better to take awhile and think this thing through before acting" (paraphrasing) ... you've won.
The minds out there have laid out the consequences ... when joined by powerhouses like wikipedia and Google ... they got results. :thumbsup:
Of course, they could have set up tents somewhere. That probably would have had a similar effect.

Wikipedia being (fake) down didn't bother me, because I disabled Wikipedia's JavaScript and then scanned the two scripts and ad-blocked the mask.
I guess there aren't too many geeks out there, which all I can say to the idiots who post crap on Twitter.

That's about it Roald, these people really have no clue what this is really about. They claim its about piracy but this is NOT the way to go about it. Its about a our civil rights and what we have a right to and this bill is headed in the wrong direction. And actually, wouldn't you think that the government has more important things to worry about than a "business" that can't solve their own problems. So they figure they will lobby the government to help them solve their own fucking problems. The Entertainment industry just could not see the forest for the trees and see that the electronic frontier is now and THE FUTURE. Technology has changed all that, a similar thing happened a long time ago. The movie studios refused to accept that television was the future and instead of embracing and getting on board with it, they poo-pooed it and then television practically ruined their business. The same applies here, they just did not want to accept the technology changed the world and the way we view and see things. Look at radio, now we have podcasts, internet radio, satellite radio, and services like pandora. But instead of embracing this technology, they view it as the enemy and refuse to adjust. Soo..this is their own fucking fault, fuck em and fuck SOPA.
