The emotional fervor of today reminds me of the beginning of the year: 'Je suis Charlie'.
Then on September 14, in Brussel, Europe will play a do-gooder deal, will settle down (as it should) Syrian refugees, a little 'less the Eritreans (you know, they are black and poorer) and it will put on hold everything else, ie 70% of the migratory phenomenon. For a couple of weeks, however, we will all feel better: much lasted the 'historical' Charlie effect...
Today is international journalism tournament day in any newspapers, written or spoken, and their hypocrite readers, i want add . Theme: comment on a picture particularly poignant finding the right mix of emotion and complaint. And do not forget to explain why that image should not be displayed but instead you publish it in the interests of a good cause. Or that it should be shown, but for respect of the public's feelings you do not. All with declared sobriety, because there is nothing more effectively rhetorical than the antirethorical.
