Removing temp files

Hellooooooo
I got a program called cc cleaner, im sure many people here use it aswell.
I've got somewhat of a problem. Whenever i start an analyze for cookies, temp files etc i always have around 3gbs, that it says can be deleted.
Many of these are from met-art.com of iga ofourse :p
The thing is, I run this analyze almost everday but the metart stuff is still there. I haven't seen these pics in weeks.
After its found all the files and hit to delete them, it only deletes around 600mb. when I start a new analyze it says there's 0kb to be deleted.
But the next time (next day or whatever) im back to 3gb. Even if i haven't even been on any sites.
Any ideas?

I never use it. I used to take them out manually, but XP and Vista both have tools to do it.

Do you use Internet Explorer? If you do, just delete your cookies from there.

I had a similar problem, where tons and tons of my hard drive space was being taken up by, what I thought to be, "phantom" files that just appeared every time I turned on my computer. What was actually happening though, was that my Internet Explorer had a "hidden" folder which couldn't be detected.

Open up Windows Explorer and go to your folder that contains all of your Temporary Internet Files. You Might find a sub-folder called "IExxx" (the xxx = random numbers and letters), and if you open that sub-folder, You Might have a shit load of temporary files that can't be detected unless you physically go to that folder. Just delete them manually from there.

That's what happened to me, anyway.

Mozilla has a simple tool for clearing private data.
Unless you visit stupid mal-script sites that completely infect your computer it's usually not a problem getting rid of stuff like that, and those tools are unnecessary if you ask me.

Just keep your porn in some hidden folder, and clear your browser data once in a while. Noscript is a great tool for Mozilla if you visit potentially dangerous sites and don't want to get invaded. Though some people think it's ass having to unblock everything you want to view, but since you have all these fancy programs I don't think you're one of those :D
