Release Date...Store Date...Street Date...???

I have seen at least these three labels on dates for videos...what the hell is the difference between them? Are there more dates to know? Why do all these different dates exist?

They are all basically the same thing.

The release date is just like it says, the day the studio released the video for sale. The store date & the Street date are the same thing, the day the video arrived in the store or was put on the website for sale. Sometimes that date is a day or two after the release date because of shipping time, but it's essentially the same thing.

Also in the adult industry, if that is what you're talking about, the date is often meaningless because they miss it so often.
