well it does seem that there is a some degree of racism in porn. I for one think that asain woman are more frequnetly than any other portrayed in a stereotypical way. and as for asian men, they seem to be nonexistant in the biz.
also I've seen a lot of sites lately that play off of societies racism, although it's a bizare form of reverse racism. the one's I'm refering to are the kind of 'blond white girl took the wrong bus and ended up in the hood.' I'm saying that it's a bizare reverse racism, because even though it's obviously not against that act and is in a way celebrating it, it's also perpetuating the opposite by implying that there is a taboo or that it's viewed as wrong for mixed race couples to be together, and of course portraying blatant stereotypes.
but on the whole I'd say that, like it or not, the industry has enough exploitation and objectification to go around based on gender, that there is no reason to have to use race as a means to that end. It's the simple fact that racism is not a logical argument in itself and as much as a racist themselves would believe it, it has nothing to do with the color of a persons skin first and foremost. In the absense of any compelling reason to have to make distinctions amongst people, or moreso if one allready exists that isn't based on race, then there will be no racism.

If you think about it is that really any different or more wrong than somebody that doesn't want to have sex with a fat ugly person, or somebody that is extremely old, or a midget, or anything like that? How many of us would not want to do that? Considering what they do I might have to give them a little more understanding when it comes to things like that. As for racism, to me it's mainly in the eye of the beholder. You can look at anything you want, and if you want to cause a ruckus you can label it anything you want.

Am I wrong thinking that offending people and belittling their dignity due to their different race is racism? I might be called stupid, but I don't understand how refusing to have sex with them implies despising them. I hate racism, but, on the other hand, searching for racism in every people's activity irritates me as well.
