Question for dog owners- Dog Grime

I have a German Shepard and I love him as if he was my own *** but I have a problem with what I call "dog grime".

Whenever I pet my dog he leaves a grimy residue on my hands. After which, I transfer the grime to everything I touch- Remote controls, my keyboard and mouse, car keys, etc...

I was over at my ***'s house and felt dog grime on his t.v. remote; yes, he has a dog too. I've considered the possibility that this is all in my head but I honestly don't think that is the case.

Has anybody else noticed this phenomenon? If so, is their a way to get rid of it? I took a clean hand towel and tried to wipe it off my mouse and t.v. remote but it really didn't seem to help.

Anyways, I guess it doesn't matter. I have OCD and I'm going to be washing my hands constantly- whether or not items I touch have dog grime on them.

I guess I'm really interested to hear if anybody else has noticed dog grime or if I'm the only one. I've asked a couple of other dog owners and they said they haven't really noticed it...but they didn't outright deny it's existence.
