Pro-Pornography Books - Poll

If you were able to find a book that was written in support of pornography, would you read it?

There are countless numbers of anti-phonography books out there, however, when it comes to pro-pornography books, if they are out there they are hard to find.

I purchased Lisa Ann's book "The life".

Once upon a time, there were two books ...

And three films ...

Though pornography started before Gerard Damiano's Deep Throat became mainstream in the adult theaters. That's when Harry Reems and Linda Lovelace first appeared. Later Marilyn Chambers and Johnnie Keys were both in Artie and Jim Mitchell's Behind the Green Door (which is probably the first interracial scene) along with the six women on stage performing cunnilingus on Marilyn Chambers. Gerard Damiano back again with Georgina Spelvin along with Harry Reems again in The Devil and Miss Jones ...

They were showing peep show loops (ten to fifteen minute scenes shot over and over like today's .gifs) in those places on 8th and 9th Avenues along 42nd, 43rd and 44th Streets, NYC in Times Square. Pornography loops were invented by a few people. Shaun Costello got credited in the late 1960s for creating many of them for the smut houses (theaters that would show them like the Grand Pussy Cat Cinema on 49th Street and 7th Avenue and it's sister the Kitty Cat Cinema also on 49th Street just around the corner)

Highly recommend Chauntelle Tibbals' Exposure: A Sociologist Explores Sex, Society, and Adult Entertainment. She also did her thesis on the history of adult entertainment (you can read it here) and has written numerous articles on the subject.

Book? Not so much.
Never enough time.

But a movie, mayhaps.

And along those lines, I am more inclined to watch the anti-, actually.

It isnt that I'm against it nor for it, I simply wish to be more.. enlightened as to which producers, studios and performers are to be promoted and which are to be avoided.

Ex: Max Hardcore was a true scumbag and it would be unwise to become jaded or numbed to certain forms of porn REGARDLESS of whether you appreciate it or not.

As a matter of course, I approve of porn consumption and the industry. But!
