Prehistoric animals

This is a very complex subject so I try explain it in plain language.

1. God creted the animals.

2. He wanted that they live in peace so he made them vegetarians.

3. Nevertheless some of them ( Spinosaurus, T-Rex, Liopleurodon etc.) becan to hunt.

4. Why do some animals start to kill another animals even thought it was strictly forribiden?

5. The answer: those animals who began hunt and kill were Satan's creations.

Once upon a time there were three bears.......

Blah blah blah no coherent thought at all......

If the Ten Commandments are the foundation of Christianity, then that means that you, as a good, God-fearing Christian, must follow them to the letter and accept them as absolute. That means that they're not open to your perception of what constitutes murder, adultery, coveting, etc. If that's the case, you really should never open your claims with any of your own explanations or assertions as to what God's meaning is: it's already been stated, and you're veering from what he's said.

I am a true Christian so I know these things better that other people.

So you'd accept it if I passed it to you? It might destabilize your mind enough to cure you from that bullshit. I'll be your Huckleberry or Harriet Tubman. No Mike Huckabee though.

Weed is a natural plant so I can not say that its use should be prohibited.

But I do not touch drugs and also you may run into problems with the authorities if you are travelling by car when your head is foggy.

Funny how christians use that same approach of reasoning to be against abortion.

Don't bother to answer, I know... 6th commandment...

Just as horses wouldn't breathe underwater during a flood so if the horses would feel the pain they would know how to breathe under water.
Just as humans wouldn't fly away when attacked and eaten by a tiger so if the humans would feel the pain they would know how to fly.

Crap reasoning.

Plants do not feel pain and they do not have feelings.

Also air and water do not feel anything.

Once upon a time there were three bears.......

Blah blah blah no coherent thought at all......

I only know that the bears and people do not fit in the same area.

You people must understand that here in Europe, we have a lot of old animals and creatures, and as I hear from friends who have visited Scandinavia, there are many things in its vast forest that others think are long gone.

If you hear the growls of the big beasts every full moon, they say, it is a safe bet that there are a number of dinosaurs among them :2 cents:

That's true and strange animals are able to move in such a way that they are rarely seen.

I once saw pterosaur-or something that looked just like it- in Lappland.

assari - Thou Shalt not Kill is an incorrect translation, so your entire pretext for this thread falls flat on its face.

The imperative is against unlawful killing resulting in bloodguilt. The Hebrew Bible contains numerous prohibitions against unlawful killing, but also allows for justified killing in the context of warfare, capital punishment, and self-defense.

Which one know this subject better?

Wikipedia or a true Christian like me.

People can say what they want, but for me the Sixht Commandment mean this:

Killing is prohibited

Leviticus 11:1-30
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them, “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, These are the living things that you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth. Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven-footed and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat. Nevertheless, among those that chew the cud or part the hoof, you shall not eat these: The camel, because it chews the cud but does not part the hoof, is unclean to you. And the rock badger, because it chews the cud but does not part the hoof, is unclean to you.

Maybe it's just me but he seems pretty cool with eating meat.

Funny that you posted this in a similar thread:

[...] Self-defence is allowed, but killing is not.

If your definition of true christian means cherry picking and being a fickle believer you're doing a pretty good job.

I thought animals act on instinct, they hunt because they are programmed to and would starve otherwise. Also God if one exists would make the meat poisonous to eat if he/she didn't want them to be eaten. Animals don't kill for pleasure/greed rather for protection and survival. Humans are a whole different matter (and species apparently) and you could argue we should only kill for self defense when our own lives or those around us are in imminant danger. Again if animals were poisonous for us to eat we'd all be vegetarians.

You are an adult and you make your own decision.

But I want to say this:

Give a vegs a change.

You will not be disappointed because vegaterian food is much healthier and tastier than other foods.

Christians can defend themselves, it is not a sin.

I can get a gun and shoot the criminal in a pinch.

But I'm fucked if that criminal dies.

True, most-if not all-animals kill only when they are hungry.

The point is that if all the animals were vegetarians they would not suffer so much.

It is not fun to be eaten alive..

I only posted the wiki link as one quick and easy reference. There are plenty of others. Ask a Jew for the correct translation from the Talmud.
The true translation as any educated Christian knows is "You shall not murder".

Theology studies, Sunday school or reading books does not make people Christian.

God gives sign to them that he chooses and those who are selected will know these things.

Amen

The Russians have discovered a new giant monster dinosaur species that lived in Siberia about 100 million years ago.

Listen, my children. You shall not entangle yourselves in vain arguments. I love all of you, each in his own crazy ways.

Now take a deep breath and go look at some nice naked females.

This is my commandment

When the dinosaurs ruled the world women did not exist.

But these topics fit together if they have to.
