Thanks Petra I suppose it's up to me to look what I'm posting. Freeones is not obliged to provide softcore thumbnails to amuse Board members trying to make posts look attractive. It's for this reason that I go huntiing for acceptable thumbnails that are not provided by Freeones. I mentioned Aebn (the newer links often have pictures of models) and Videosz who almost always provide usable thumbnails. I should like to know if they take an "any publicity is good publicity" attitude or if they would object to us using their thumbnails as "window-dressing" for links to other sites when Freeones thumbnails are insufficient or unsuitable. Some sites simply replace [IMG] posts with " x ". At least then we know that the illustrative thumbnail is not welcome. If the transformation to " x " happens after the posters right to edit has expired we end up with unsightly posts. I have taken to logging out as soon as the reply has been submitted - this usually triggers the transformation to "x" so I can delete unwelcome images in time to avoid posting them. Sometimes all efforts fail and you get stuck with an embarrassing red "x". I should like to point out to sites that the Freeones Board in presenting their promotional materal as attractively as it can is enhancing their advertising. I wonder if the Freeones search engines can begin to index usable thumbnails under models names as they already do with their own?[/IMG]
