Pornstars and Social Media

for me the quintessential pornstar is someone i find attractive/sexy, is a great performer who goes all out AND who makes herself fairly accessible to her fans through various forms of social media (including facebook, instagram, tumblr, freeones, youtube, twitter and other forums, blogs etc.). we talk about the first two all the time but who, in your opinion,

1) stands out as a pornstar who has great interaction/communication with her fans (she doesn't have to be someone you necessarily like/love)

and/or

2) who do you wish was more accessible to her fans through these various forms of social media?

i dont use those things at all. i could care less if a performer uses them, it does not make me want to go on there and follow her around like some crazy e-stalker begging for a bone or a mention. i dont see how that could be exciting.

I have twitter, facebook, myspace, and I interact on here of course, then I also use ModelMayhem for shoots and even have got a few members from there, and I interact on my site's forum. I hate twitter and myspace, facebook is where it's at, though sadly I don't use any of them as often as I know people would like me to. I'll try to change that.

some of the biggest and best pornstars out there DON'T spend much time on social media because they're BUSY SHOOTING constantly aka doing their job. I think sometimes "fans" (and it usually seems to be the fans that DON'T spend money on the porn/websites/etc) that think it's part of their job to reply to every tweet and email they get, then get disappointed or even insulting when they don't get what they want. It's kinda laughable.
I've gotten tweets from dudes who have never spent a dime on me telling me what a horrible person I am for "treating my biggest fans this way!!" umm..sending me a tweet that say "you're hot, I want to stick my dick in you" doesn't exactly make you a fan, nor does it usually deserve a response IMO.. #justsayin

Some people don't want to talk to you as a pornstar but instead as a human beings. They want to get to know the person they see on screen and see what type of person they really are. I know personally I like to talk to you and the other adult models as people not just the people that do webcams or adult movies. But this isn't always true some are just dickheads that insult and demand things from the models, which is deplorable. I find it interesting being able to see models be human instead of just pornstars or models, I like seeing your opinions, thoughts and etc.. Seeing models do everyday stuff is awesome cause it proves no matter what our job is, where we live or what race we are we all share coming ground in some aspects of life.

I know it happens I've been in chatrooms where cam models would do a show and guys would be like shot tits, ass or pussy and keep demanding it. Also one guy went to chat rooms calling the models sinners and that they were gonna burn and all that jazz. There will probably always be those types of guys sadly

Kristina Rose is quite active on Tumblr too, but mainly pics of what she is listening to, or pics of her about to go out, pretty boring. Jynx Maze also uses instagram quite a bit. I dont have twitter so wouldnt know who was using that a lot.

Some people need to make up for their lack of real life interaction with people and try to get it on social media. Some form an obsession with a person and fixated on them and every time the don't get a response the obsession with them grows more and more because they desire that persons attention and isn't getting it. Things like what you mentioned are psychological problem that the person has.
