Who is worth more in porn - the actors or the actresses?

The women are the bigger names and the big attractions, but there's a lot of them about.

There are fewer guys in porn, but they usually aren't as big stars.

So, for a guy/girl scene, who would get paid more?

From everything I've seen the girl gets paid more than the guy and she also gets paid more depending on what she actually does in the scene. Guys do get paid more if they do gay porn though.

I think that men get more money. It's not necessarily that they make more for each individual scene, but it seems like men tend to have more movie credits to their name than women.

I think the women get paid more for each individual shoot or movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the more "talented" bigger names among the men make comparable money to the women.

Also, though, I think with the men, in some ways their job requires more talent than the women, so producers like to stick with a certain group of "proven" performers who get lots and lots of work.

A lot of guys are very lucky if they make $400 a scene. That's why some of them try to work almost every day, are gay for pay or just gay, and escort (again with other men as their most abundant clients). Continuously working without stop is the only way a man can even approach what most women make. There is even more of a discrepancy if you count feature dancing, photoshoots, personal Internet sites, and escorting. Plus they have virtually no control over a lot of what happens because most of them can be easily replaced. Despite what many of them think, nobody gives a damn about the guy. The smart and more realistic ones realize that. Besides a small percentage of hardcore rain coater fans nobody really cares about their performance either. The best that can be said of all but a few in the history of the industry is that they don't screw up a scene. A lot of them have an inflated sense of ego. They're not the reason people watch porn. It would be sort of like wondering why a referee at a football games makes less money then the star players of the teams involved even though technically he needs to be there to make it happen.
