I'm sure porn organization has been discussed many times before, apologies for that, but I have done a fair amount of searching and haven't found all the info I'm looking for and I am interested in suggestions.
Flickr just terminated my account which I used for organizing and viewing my large collection of pornographic pictures. Not sure exactly why: everything was private and restricted. I didn't care about sharing anything, just wanted a cloud-based service to organize and tag my pics and also a handy way to view them on a computer or phone. (I set up 'tournaments' of various women and use a point system to rank various pornstars, models, etc. based on image galleries I put together.)
(My Flickr pics recently became non-searchable so I escalated the issue and maybe that's what alerted them. Though according to forums I've read, they don't review your private content. I did make 1 image public for testing purposes but it was a non-nude, though still sexualized, pic - completely banning me and deleting my pics seems like an extreme response to just that one though maybe they used it as pretense. No explanation was provided for my ban.)
Fortunately, I have many (not all) of the pics saved to a computer but now have to decide whether to find another cloud-based option that won't boot me, use PC-based software to organize, or just use Windows file structure.
If anyone has recommendations please let me know. What I liked most about Flickr and what I'd like to duplicate:
- Tagging is pretty much a must
- I'd like to be able to look at the pics on my phone and on my PC
- Relatively large storage capacity - right now it looks like what I have on my PC is about 13GB but I'd want room to expand - I am willing to pay as long as it's not extremely expensive
- Cloud-based preferred but not necessary
And of course I don't want a high risk of being banned and having to start all over again.
A lot of other threads focus more on videos but it's only pictures I'm interested in. I want to use it for both organization/backup and for viewing.
Please reply if you have any comments or thoughts either aobut what to try next or generally about Flickr's policies. Maybe they're trying to change things over there or something, I don't know, I thought I was safe. I probably shouldn't have pushed it with escalating the search issue but it was a feature I heavily relied on.
