Fairfax County, Va., police released surveillance video of the serial butt slasher Wednesday.

The video below shows the man entering the Marshall’s at the Greenbriar Shopping Center June 20, police said.

Police now believe one man is responsible for at least six incidents in which a woman in her late teens or early 20s suffered a cut on her behind while shopping at a retail store or mall.

The attacks made news last week after an 18-year-old was cut inside a store in the Fair Oaks Mall the evening of July 25.

A sixth victim has since come forward, saying she didn't realize the cut she suffered June 8 at the T.J. Maxx at Fairfax Town Center was an ******. Initially, she thought she'd been cut by a clothes hanger, police said.

Since February, there also have been attacks at the Tysons Corner H&M and two other attacks at the Fair Oaks Mall. Most of the slashings have followed a distraction, usually clothing being knocked over. Afterward, the culprit calmy walks away without drawing attention to himself.

None of the victims has suffered a serious injury, but the first victim told News4 the cut was deep and left a permanent scar that she was told would be worse had she opted for stitches. Last week's victim suffered a cut about an inch-and-a-half long.

The slasher is a heavyset Hispanic man in his late 20s standing about 5-foot-6, according to Fairfax County police.
