Please recommend things to do in Edinburgh.

So my Lady friend and I are going to Edinburgh for 2 days and we'd like to know what we should see and do while we're there. Neither of us are great fans of museums so that's not on the agenda. I'm more interested in seeing all the great sites of that city. If people here could help recommend a few good things one could do there I'd be most greatful. I've never been there before so I really have no idea what to expect.
