This doesn't make any sense. The trailer makes it look like we were taken over by the apes but according to the original Planet of the Apes (Heston's version) humanity killed itself off and the apes were kinda like the next in line or something.

its bad enough they remake almost everything and do it at such an inferior level compared to the original but they also gotta change the story........real douchebags.
the story goes like this: some time after 1972 there was a nuclear or atomic war.
humans reverted to primitive beings and apes evolved to the mental levels that humans were before the bomb(s).
none of that crap in the trailer..........the movie should have been titled something else.
