I refer to how the rich, corporations and nations give with one hand a fraction of what they take with the other.
They wrongly steal a charitable appearance.
They steal a sense of goodness which is entirely undeserved. Or so some say.

While I see what you are saying, I'd prefer you not say it. I spend quite a lot of my time finding corporations to fund various charitable projects. It may not be the most ideal situation, but corporate money/endowments get a lot of good things done.

If companies can find it within themselves to give up a portion of their profits to make good things happen, I'm all for it.

Flawed premise. Phenomenology is inevitable, and steals nothing. It may be falsely representative, but it certainly isn't stealing. I would encourage you to read "The Critique of Pure Reason" to help you understand this.
