Paris Hilton to make debut as DJ


Paris Hilton is gearing up to make her debut as a professional DJ.

The hotel heiress - who previously attempted a pop career when she released her self-titled album in 2006 - will perform a one-hour set at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, next month, reports E! Online.

The 31-year-old, who is also working on a second album, said: "Electronic music is a huge passion of mine and I'm finally letting the world experience it with me. I have been working in the studio for a long time and I'm ready to take deejaying to the next level."

Earlier this year Paris told MTV News that, despite her failure to really make her mark on the music scene so far, she is actually very "musically talented".

"I think a lot of people don't know that music is my passion since I was a little girl," said the starlet, who is best known for appearing in reality shows such as The Simple Life and The World According To Paris.
