I saw the Chris Wallace interview on Fox last night. He was pretty good. She is just an idiot. An insincere idiot.

The "satire" defense she provided for Rush was such blatant bullshit and I hope Conservatives are finally starting to see that Palin is nothing more than a shallow, hollow, simple opportunist. She's not a Conservative, she's not shrewd, she's not smart and she's not intelligent.

If the GOP wants a shot at taking Congress back in November, they need to abandon her and step away from this Tea Party nonsense. Alan Keys is now hosting Carnival Tea party cruises. The jig is up.

I won't condemn anybody for saying it...just as I won't condemn somebody for calling a bad movie "gay" or a dumb comment "insane." Yeah, I got you. And I agree with MSNBC being as biased as Fox, but in this case it's the conservative-leaning Fox that put the Conservative Palin to task. Chris Wallace doesn't pull punches. So that's why I mentioned Fox's usually Rightist stance.

And I agree with the Jackson/Sharpton comment as well. I swear to God I included an Imus/Snoop Dogg comparison in my initial reply, but took it out because it wasn't the best example. Imus/Sharpton is the perfect example.

The thing is, I get personally bothered by Palin not because I'm a liberal, but because I'm NOT a liberal and **** seeing her attach herself to Conservative/Libertarian ideas. It so easy for people to shoot down concepts like smaller government, personal responsibility, Constitutional preservation, etc., when you can just point out that she's become the figurehead for those principles. Somehow.

I say the same thing about Glenn Beck who has the fucking nerve to call himself a "Libertarian". These are dumb people hijacking ideas and becoming the representatives of them.
