Yes, they do happen. The majority usually fall into the category of "weird old fat people getting their freak on" at someones house in the suburbs (which would probably be a bad scene), but there are also cool "swinger/alt lifestyle" networks that hold club party's on occasion.
We've held many swinger party's at the clubs I work at, and it's a great time. These are always private invite only events, and getting an invite is a complicated process. The organizations we've worked with are great, and the customers high class.
You need to connect with a "swinger network". That's pretty much what it comes down to. Oh, and if you're a guy, you're gonna need a hot girlfriend/wife/****** with you to get through the door.
