Oooh! James Clavells' Shogun

I just found it in a box....and it's been a while. Me thinks to re-read. This sucka has it all. Adventure, romance, intrigue, espionage, aristocracy, betrayal, forbidden love, hot asian chix (ahem), death, life, poverty, hope, despair. I just Netfixed the mini-series a couple months back but couldn't get into it. Modern cinema has left me jaded. But it's a great book. I would say one of the greatest novels ever written (sharing that title with Lord of the Rings, of course).

What about it? Anyone else around here read a good book anymore?
