oh dear lord god in heaven...WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!

i just inadvertantly deleted 3 GB of my best, and oldest porn. ive been collecting it for at LEAST 3 years! oh god, fuck me, oh god i think im going to be sick.

Provided you haven't written anything else on that hard-drive, there are tonnes of utilities available that will undelete (recover) all that stuff for you.

what do you mean? seein as how this is my main computer and it holds all my important info. school, private matters and porn alike

Get over it. Honestly, when was the last time you went back and watched it all?

Is it really that important? When did you watch any of it last? Think to yourself that.

Depends on when the deletion took place, and what else has been saved on the hard-disk subsequently.

Even so you should easily be able to recover a substantial number of those files. Like I said, there are quite a number of free utilities to help you do this.

My recommendation Pandora:

I feel your pain. I lost a pile of stuff including porn in a hard drive crash about 5 years ago. I now believe in backups.

actually quite often. when i dont want to search onlineetc, or if i cant find certain ones online. it was all vids you see. penny flame, lanny barbie and a few others that i got a while ago and havnt found again, mainly because they were on limewire, which now doesnt work on my computer.

true to say, your right, there were quite a few that i dont look at/watch anymore, but come on ya gotta admit there are some things youd rather not part with, am i right?

I can live without 3gigs of porn I think it's called a girlfriend but I could be wrong?

Do not worry. If you found it once you will find it again.

If anything learn to back up on CD or DVD. Preferably DVD since it holds much more.

Don't sweat the small stuff. There are worst things to lose in this world than simple folder of porn. :hatsoff:

DVDs also seem to last longer than CDs. I have had stuff burned to CD that became unreadable after only a year. I have been using only DVDs to archive important things.

dont have one. lost her to college. but yes, right you are.

i may be pissed off, and a little sad, but i will forget about this. most likely by tomorrow

ive just already been havin a down day, and this didnt make it any better. so yea. its like losing an amateur rock collection i suppose, regrettable but rebuildable.

tomorrows friday, usually brings good things :nanner:

I have stuff from 2003-2004 that is still readable and I have not looked at it since then. That is why ask this member what is the importance of it?

When is last time it has been looked at? I haven't looked at what I saved for at least 5 years. I still can go back to it and look at it. He answered, thing is, exactly how important is it?

DVD is a great consolation to CD. Definitely. I would urge one uses DVD.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
think of it as an archeological expedition. You now have to go out and dig up all that old stuff. Get a fedora or whatever Indiana Jones wore, you know you have the whip all ready. Call Karen Allen and see if she wants to drink. You got yourself a weekend now
