Obama speaks before 200,000+ in Germany

Pretty impressive picture of the crowd. I guess if Germans were allowed to Vote in our election, Obama would win 78% to McCain's 20%...I think that will be the actual U.S. results too!:thefinger

I also think if McCain gave a speech in this same location...200 people might show up. Perhaps that is what the McCainers are melting down over..their boy can't attract any interest anywhere?

Here's the Yahoo link and if you click on the photo montage..there's a lot of American flags in the German audience:glugglug::nanner:

Sprekenzie Obama! Obama! Obama!

I don't think he did the wrong thing. The future partners from abroad have to know what he is like, and vice versa.

And he can show that he is well-received by all europeans (plus Jews AND Arabs in Isael/Palestina), which is of interest for his potential voters.

Remembereing how clumsy Bush handled things, even winking at the british queen, or kind of attacking chancelor Angela Merkel and making like he wanted to give her a back rub, that is fucked up.

Obama is a real statesman, and he isn't a warmonger like McCain.

Is he more popular abroad than he is at home? seems like it.

I guess you didn't pay much attention to the Dem primary race earlier this year...Obama caused traffic jams and spoke before standingroomonly crowds in the thousands everywhere...polls had to stay open later to accommodate all the people that voted for him in the primary...he spoke before 80,000 in Portland, OR earlier and he's going to give his Acceptance speech in Denver Broncos stadium...I think that holds 60,000+

It's safe to say The Rock Star Candidate has captured America and our "Old Europe" Buddies equally:thumbsup:

All McCain can do is stand in front of a cheese cooler in a supermarket and shake his fist at the 3 reporters covering him:1orglaugh

Will this race even be competitive in a week? It's barely competitive now? Nobody is interested in McCain and his tired, sadsacky policies...

It's a good job he got his speech out first, because waiting until 200,000 people have spoken would have taken ages.

did you see that shit?
i was watching it on the daily show, and there was a bit where mccain was walking down the aisle talking to this woman pushing a shopping trolley & just as he was walking past an employee knocked all these jars off a shelf, all over the floor - i guess you had to see it but i was laughing my ass off,

it seemed kinda symbolic of the way his campaign doesn't seem to be going too great

while obama is doing his statesman-like world tour mccain is wandering around a Kwik-E-Mart or whatever talking to old ladies doing their shopping,
a bit of a contrast

that's the way it seems to me,

come on Barry

Here in Germany is truly something going on like an "Obamarization". Not surprising though, the way hard-headed republican candidates presents themselves in the media.

as usual, backing up socialists seems to be the way in many European countries where ignorance and socialism go in par together. As if socialism hasn't done enough damage in Europe. Socialist elected governments have done nothing positive for their countries. And Spanish people elected a socialist dumbass called Zapatero:rolleyes: Socialism is not helping countries, it is just going backwards. Don't express your joy too soon, see what happened in 2004, Kerry lost :yesyes::thefinger: You never know what the future happens.

Obama has never been in the military so how do you expect from him to know what is risking your daily life. He has not been a pow like Mc Cain.
