Sure, but just like with Twitter and other social media, some girls have decided to just not partake, because they don't WANT TO wade thru the insults and jerks to get to the good stuff. They don't want to subject themselves to insults and abuse. And I don't blame them one bit. They prob live a more peaceful life than I do LOL! So next time you judge a porn girl for "not interacting with her fans" this is the reason why.

To be fair, I did at one time have a Twitter account, but I'd like to think it's been purged by now, as I haven't logged into it in years and have forgotten how to, anyway. I maintain my Facebook account as it is the best means of keeping in touch with a few family members. However, I am overall quite dissatisfied with it. Again, I will not extrapolate, especially since my feelings toward Facebook and its team are extremely hate-filled, and I will not post such things here.

I'm not sure if the second bolded bit was directed at humanity, me and only me, or another person or group of persons entirely. Obviously, I can only speak for myself here...but aside from out in the open on this public venue, I have seldom directly contacted porn girls. Every time I have done so, I have endeavored to be respectful, i.e. I'll never proposition a girl. I've also been fortunate to have received replies every time I've contacted a lady via the PM system here. If my tone came across as bitchy, I apologize for failing to properly convey my message.

It obv wasn't directed at anybody, esp not anybody in this thread. I was just reporting to you guys what I've heard. Girls come to me for advice a lot, and they're often surprised to find out I webcammed for 8 years and interacted with my fans 1on1 for years before shooting any sort of porn. Then I recommend some things they could do.. and that's usually the reply that they give. I wasn't pointing any fingers, relax. LOL

Unfortunately, I think that is an occupational hazard. Porn consumers expect everything in return for their $30 a month they spend on your website or for the $50 a month they spend illegally downloading the content on the web. I believe its why many of the performers of the past have started their own websites and gone into camming. Production values have gone way down because they lose so much money to illegal streaming and such. As someone has already said, you aren't a true fan unless you pay up. If you don't pay up, your a thief. Many don't see themselves as thieves when it comes to porn because they feel like they are stealing from irreputable people (aka sex workers, porn stars). They feel they can hide behind the social stigma that porn performers don't deserve money because they make a living fucking people for money on film. When in reality, porn is not an easy job...and it's just that, a job. A woman's body and her time are her money. People don't get that. It's what makes them feel good for trolling all the porn ladies on the Internet. It is, as you said, a woman-hating problem. Women who are intelligent and who are boldly open about their sex life are a threat to them and their "dick club." Which is why I don't have a problem telling said "bros" to go buy a 30pk of Natty Light, rent an Xbox game, and find a large double ended dildo to go fuck themselves with when they show up here or on any porn forum. The funny thing is, they still think they "own" performers when they get a boob job, shave their bush, quit the business, do anal all to their dislike. Well, it's your body ladies - do what you want. You can have an opinion about a performer's career or have differing tastes, but it's not anyone's job to go around telling people what to do or how to do it. Porn isn't a goddamned democracy.

Anyway, my intention of these type of posts is to show the readers and the lurkers who actually shows up here. Nothing more, nothing less. Whether that showing up on the boards is someone pasting a bunch of links to their shit or having some web nerd do that for them is not within my time limit to research. Nor do I really care. The board members here can usually discern who's doing what. I just crunch numbers for fun.

Come on Aaliyah, still with this story about the abuse? If people can't stand a bad word or impoliteness on a forum they should look into themselves and see what's wrong with them. Actually those who can't stand a bad word are usually those who throw it first (seen millions of times in this forum by some OCSMs; on webcam sites it's almost a standard). Abuse is a much serious thing and those who have suffered it for real would certainly laugh at an adult performer feeling abused because called slut on a forum. If girls don't come to a forum because they feel offended (that's the right word) by few vs many who appreciate them, i suspect that they don't get out of home much either because the real world out there surely does not lack offensive, impolite people. Life is not all pink and colorful: there are also a few shades of gray and the human being is totally prepared genetically to deal with it. Anyway, i was just expressing my opinion too; i hope that just because it's different it's not seen as abuse, although judging from the tone and from the queefing at the end of your post i wouldn't be so sure.
About judging, i have been given this wonderful gift and i don't intend to leave it unused; to use your words: it's my prerogative and i wish that more people went back to be judging openly instead of doing it behind people shoulders...we all judge, Aaliyah...all, you included. You have judged at least on 3 issues on your answer to me and in one occurrence you have judged me (as not entitled to judge other people).

And i rest my case: someone who cannot stand an offense or a different view or a judgement or some rudeness on a forum (offense like slut or rudeness like being called "girl" instead that by name, not abuse) needs to seek for help to get some self-esteem back or to work on that a lot by themselves because real life is offensive and rude sooner than later and things don't always go our way. Honestly you guys I have encouraged many of my porn girlfriends to post on this board and the consensus amongst most of them is something like "I tried but the abuse I received chased me away. If I'm doing it for free, I'm going to do it for fun, and getting picked on and picked apart isn't my idea of fun. It's not worth my time."

I can say this.. I have been a regular at 5 or 6 different forums over the years, and FO is my second favorite. I have received love and hate on here, rude and assuming emails, people propositioning me for sex or insulting my body, but I have also met some models who are super cool chicks, and even became friends, and have made some really deep online friendships with a couple of fans I've known on here for years..so it's a balance. The abuse and negativity on here isn't half as bad as the other forums I've been on.. ADT, Twistys, and a webmaster forum called GFY all come to mind.. no thank you!

This is so true. Some of the things I have read over the years I have been on here that OCSMs have said to members are just down right rude. But unfortunately in this business there are those out there that are very much up themselves and forget who it is that put them where they are today.

I feel like things gave gotten much better since the crack down of trolls, seems to be much less drama to me. There are some members that were so awful and I'm glad they are gone.

I agree and disagree with this. Some of the guys that were scared away by all the rule changes etc were vital components of the board. There's no doubt about it, prepared to say 18 months ago this board is flat as a pancake. I remember when I used to come on here and literally laugh out loud at some of the things people were posting. I get that some people didn't always get the kind of humor that was being used but hey that's what the ignore button is for. If you don't like it then don't look at it.

I think there is a difference between constructive criticism as long as it's done right as long as the community doesn't go to the lengths of harping about something incessantly, and something that's meant to attack the dignity of somebody else.

Often it seems to be either endless harping on what a performer won't do, or people just being mean spirited. On the first issue I think a golden rule to follow is to be happy about what a performer will do that you like and to not complain about what they won't do. So many people bitch like juveniles because so and so in the industry doesn't do some act or another. On the second there is just no excuse for being mean spirited or insulting outside the very rare instances where a performer's conduct is so obviously wrong that they deserve it.

In any case even if a performer has a very thick skin and people being mean to her doesn't hurt her mentally there is still the aspect of people just getting irritated after a while, and not wanting to deal with crap anymore, just like what happens to most everybody else in the world in similar situations. Even for them having a bunch of people giving them small pokes all the time that don't hurt can still add up to something that's going to piss people off to the point they don't want to deal with it anymore. It's not always just hurt feeling, it's also the hassle and irritation. It's even worse when it comes from those people that lack maturity, lack common decency, have a skewed perception of reality, or just don't make sense at all. :2 cents:

It may be worth noting that a couple of the girls who have told me this are actually OCSM's who used to post in the past. Not getting into whether their decisions were good or bad, because it's entirely subjective. Everyone has their reasons for posting here, just as those who choose not to have their own reasons for not participating.

In my case, I was a lurker for well over a year before I really started posting... I like to think that I have a pretty thick skin, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to subject myself to any needless crap when I already had other means of communicating with my fans, and some of the things being said in my thread back then..... jeez. Anyway, that was my reasoning at the time. However, once I actually began posting and people realized I was reading what was being said in my thread, it was a complete turn around. Sure, once in awhile I encounter a troll or two, but that's no surprise. It's the internet. That's bound to happen from time to time on every site. As many other girls have mentioned, FreeOnes is one of the best forums around. I love this board and I'm really happy I decided to come out of my shell and start posting on here - I've "met" a lot of great people, and that's what keeps me coming back.

In fact you don't have to agree with my opinions. It would be nice if you respected the fact that people might have different opinions than yours, though. Words are written for people to judge who is rude and bitchy. I've just said that some OCSMs always whine about non-existing "abuse" towards them on these forum and that more often than not those are the same girls who treat members like idiots and you're gone bananas. Thanks for proving me right. I care about everybody's opinions instead and when i disagree i speak out about it as much as when i agree. It's the only way i know towards a constructive debate which is not a monologue.
