Now that Miss FO's is done...It's Time for Wolverine's Useless OCSM Post Count Tracker

As some of you all may know, I keep track of OCSM post count activity throughout the year. I rank that and hand out my own Miss FO's crown every January 1st for the most active OCSM each year. You can search the threads for my previous threads for how its tracked, the criteria for my awards, etc. However, I just wanted to give everyone a raw count and ranking for all the frequent OCSMs to the board. This will not go into my own awards at the end of the year, but here's a rough count up until 10/1/2014 of the rank for OCSMs and their frequent number of posts since January 1, 2014. As always, feel free to comment, tell me I have no life, etc. I have not included any inactive OCSMs or deactivated accounts. This will include our previous year's winners along with all the newbie OCSMs, too. The ranking goes as follows:

45 other OCSMs with up to 9 posts, but no less than 1 for the year. That makes 98 active for 2014 out of the 409 listed. That's less than 24% that have posted for 2014, a significant drop from year's past.

You can filter by a few things like post count.

I had never looked at the posts to be honest, I was just surprised at the volume.

I just trrck the number and not the content. Folks were upset about Vicky Vette a few years ago, too. They kept saying it was her management team posting on her behalf.

I know. I'm not criticizing. I was just answering a surprised post making notice that post-count does not necessarily equals forum contribution. I interpreted Miss' surprise about Sabrina Stockings amount of posts like in "i didn't realize she contributed so much" and so i just pointed out that she didn't indeed. Nothing wrong, nothing bad, i'm just a guest here, Sabrina Stockings can post whatever she likes (and i can post that i've got the feeling that she ignores nofollow rule), there are mods who decide what's right and wrong, you very well specified POST COUNT on your title, so we are all good.
And if somebody still feels the need of digging my innocent post, this is my message to them (damn i'm gonna use this more and more from now on, i love it):

My take on OCSM posts is that they count if they are personalized (directed towards or in response to my or other members posts):mail:. Automated posts or fly by bombing adds are just spam to me and will be treated as such :dotdot:

The drive by link post and URL snatch and grab is a bit too common. I wanted to put into perspective who is being active but not who is being "active." That would take alot more research on my part. Many of the active OCSM accounts are not really active at all. Some don't log in anymore and have retired from the business long ago. Others (I won't name names but have a list of about a dozen) simply log in and lurk. To me, its a bit of false advertisement to say that you can talk to over 400 stars here and only about 100 actually post something and maybe 50 are truly interactive. Given that some operate their own boards on their own site or cam frequenly. I'm not asking for more but just proper representation of the term OCSM in general. I've been a member here for a decade now. I just want to see things get bigger and better instead of stale and predictable.

I'm a quality over quantity guy. Give me 15 minutes over 4 hours any day, especially if I get to perform some of my favorite things.

This is true. You can have a few hundred thousand twitter followers, a huge company behind you, but getting some of the real, loyal members of FO behind you can trump all of that on here.

Plus it can be fun to post on the board, and it's nice to see some pink mixed in with the blue.
