I saw a .. Chris Williamson YT video discussing this, I think. It is because the OF model (or, her BF / hubby / Manager) is responsive to e-mails and chats from their customers. It "makes them believe" they have (some kind of) a "relationship" with the OF model, because of the interaction. Dudes are soooooooooo thirsty for ANY communication with women, in particular "validation," that they simp for it.
