A Nigerian wife has filed for divorce from her husband because her husband’s penis was “too big”, after marrying him for about a week. “We had sex but the experience was a nightmare. Instead of enjoying the sex, it turned out to be something else because his penis was too big,” Aisha Dannupawa told a Shariah court after she sought divorce.
The case of Dannupawa, who bore three children from an estranged first husband, has stirred a subtle laughter when she explained her reason for the divorce at a Shariah court based in Gusau, Zamfara State.
Her husband in question has not argued that Dannupawa was wrong. While agreeing for the divorce, he sought that she return the dowry money he gave during their wedding.
According to the Nigerian daily Tribune, Dannupawa told the Shariah court: “I told my mother the experience but she told me to endure and that with time, I will be able to cope. She then gave me some drugs.” “Two days later when he came to visit me, we had sex again, but the experience was too much to bear. It was then I knew that I could not continue with the marriage because of the size of his penis,” she told the court.
The court has asked the two to reconsider the decision for divorce before pronouncing the verdict.
