New video player implemented

Hello everybody,

I wanted to let you know that we have been really busy with implementing a new video player. You can see it all over the site and here is an exaple of a Full HD video: http://videos.freeones.com/s_babes/Stacie_Jaxxx/68596/
We did not only implement the new video player, but also converted all existing videos to the highest possible format. To get there we had to change many things in our infrastructure and software. It was a lot of work, but I am very happy to see that it is live now.

We still need to finalize this project. At the moment the preview thumbs are being regenerated for example. And we will make some really cool tweaks to the video player it self in this month.

Please give us some feedback about how the current player works for you and what you want to see changed/added.
Oh and this project was also partly done because of the new FreeOnes we are working on. It's hard to get the new FreeOnes alive, but I promise you it's gonna rock and blow all other porn sites away.

On the new player the toolbar, including the duration, is hidden until clicked. Is there a way to have the toolbar w/duration visible or have the duration listed elsewhere on the page? The data is in this <div class="vjs-duration-display" aria-live="off">8:55</div>

Also, thanks for mentioning that the thumbnails aren't gone but just regenerating.

We have just finalized the new thumbs.
Now the preview images are full screen and the videos thumbnails do not have black bars anymore.
Unfortunately, some thumbs are missing for some reason. We will fix this tomorrow.

Furthermore, we have optimized our storage so that the site and videos will load way faster now.

This past weekend some tweaks have been made which will hopefully solve this problem.

Can anyone let us know when you still have this problem and if so please note what browser you are using, are you located in the US/Canada or Europe/elsewhere and what device you use (PC/MAC/Mobile Device).

It does not seem to be buffering fast enough. It causes the video to start and stop.

When I click on any video it just shows a black screen with the rotating FreeOnes logo, like it's loading, but it never plays.
This is on a PC with Internet Explorer. USA

As a follow-up to my previous post, all videos seem to work fine on the same Windows 7 PC using Firefox browser instead of Explorer.

The updated player (v3?) is great! Easy to use and works well, it solves all the issues with the initial update to the new streaming (v2?). Great work!

The static and animated thumbnails haven't been loading on the video search result pages for a while. It seems like the <div class="video_thumb videothumb"> isn't populating the child <img> tag properly when compared to other pages where the thumbnails display correctly. Can the template for the search results be updated to correct this?

Do you mean when you use the video search option next to the FreeOnes logo and then when you move your mouse over the search results?



If so, for me that is just working fine.
What browser/OS are you using?
