With so many beaches and Long Island big shit get-a-ways, why do people still mob the Jersey shore for their fun destination FROM NY?
Lowest gas prices in the country and by law they have to pump it for you.
No tax on clothing.

Well, I've never been there, but I think I smelled it once, when I was on vacation in MAINE! I love the license plates..."The Garden State". Garden of what, petro chemical plants! Plus, you're to close to New York.

I do find it interesting that many people who I work with and friends from NJ compare the state of NJ to the two counties of Long Island. I just think there is an inferiority complex

It's only certain parts of NJ that I don't like, but that can said about pretty much anywhere.

The only area of NJ that I don't like is close to NYC. It's so dirty. Trash everywhere. Yuck. But I've been to other places in NJ where it's quite nice.
