I think that's well stated. The view is to demand actions which lead to no regulation, the inmates running the asylum. Unfortunately the human race isn't a big bunch of nice altruistic people who are fair and generous, so that political stance can't exist for very long before it has to be fixed by the legal hand of the big government being resisted, making it even bigger.

Here the guy certainly enjoyed less regulation, took risks with other's pension funds, lost it all, and then received a huge gov't bailout, (I think the largest bailout and the largest bankruptcy)? Then he argued his $489 million dollar bonuses over 8 years were completely justified and he shouldn't have to give anything up.

Trickle down economics was sold by Reagan, and obviously doesn't work.

I haven't had time to read past the first paragraph but it looks interesting and is hopefully accurate;

This completely ignores the fact that without the taxpayers’ bailout money, there would be no earnings! If there was anyone left who still felt like the bailout was a good idea (besides the executives who directly benefit), this should be the final nail in the coffin that we were just robbed blindly while the politicians patted themselves on the back.

Let's not forget who signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and who was pushing for the bailouts. That's right folks it was the evil NeoCo....... what? No really? he actually signed that?
