Ugly George was an - apparently now forgotten - pioneer of gonzo. He probably pretty much invented it.
He had a cable access show in New York in the mid-70s into the 80s (along with Al Goldstein, he was also a pioneer of raunchy cable access shows, if anybody remember those). His schtick was he walked around New York by himself with a big honking video outfit strapped to his back, wearing a shiny silver vest and shiny silver shorts, and blatantly propositioned women in the street. His standard come on was to suggest his target "flex on into this hallway."
Unlike the vast (vast vast) majority of gonzo, this was actually real. I spotted him walking around a few times.
This was in the days when weird guys propositioning you in the street was pretty low on the list of fears when walking around New York ... watch "Taxi Driver" if that confuses you. He got ignored (or slapped or punched) 98% of the time, but he was so incredibly persistent sometimes he actually got women to take off their tops, or (rarely) do more.
As for Necky Becky, at some point someone who claimed to be her brother claimed that she was dead. Whether that was true, I don't know. It may have been a ploy to get people to leave her alone.
I don't think you'd be all that excited to track her down nowadays, as she'd must be in her 60s.
