First off, yes, I know about this previous thread:

I have no love or **** for either Texas or USC. But I seriously think Gene Chizik, the Texas defensive coordinator who has won his last 27 games straight, is "under the radar" of most people. I don't see USC moving the ball very easily on Texas.
Chizik basically built up Auburn's D, allowing them to go 13-0 last year, and dominate the second half of Auburn's 2003 season. Before that, he was at UCF -- not a school of any note, until you consider the 2 years he was there, UCF (an independent at the time and still playing a number of top-10 teams every year) had a top 10 defense during both years of his tenure as well (despite the reduced player talent of an Auburn or Texas).
Chizik went to Texas because of the BCS opportunity of the chance at the national title -- whereas even a 12-0 didn't give Auburn a shot in 2004. And God knows the talent in the state of Texas matches or even exceeds California and Florida. Even I, a Floridian, have to admit that Florida is not the #1 state for prospects these days, and Texas is better for many positions. He's definitely the best defensive coordinator in the country, and with the talent he has now, I don't see USC and Bush slicing through his D.
Texas by 10 points.
