How many of you like myspace and facebook? Maybe I'm just getting old, but I really just don't see the point. I have a myspace page which I'm probably going to delete soon because I never use it, and I've never even gotten on facebook. If I want to talk to somebody I'll just e-mail them or call them. Besides, I find freeones more interesting. There's hot women, good news and usually some kind of strange debates.

I've never liked myspace but I use facebook a lot. It's definitely a great way to keep in touch with people you may not have seen in a long time, and much easier than trying to find out where they are now or trying to contact them any other way. There are a lot of friends I haven't seen since high school that I can now keep in touch with on facebook. There was even one girl I had a crush on in high school (amazing, athletic butt) that I hadn't seen in like 6 years and thanks to facebook we connected and have hung out a couple times. All thanks to this thing called facebook! So I like it.

Oh, and too bad the girl is now engaged and has a kid...

They are all starting to become an annoyance. It really started with myspace which is why I have one to keep in touch with friends but with all these other sites like facebook or twitter pretty much creating a duplicate site and then turning into a fad it is annoying.. Bottom like is pick One social networking site and stick with it since there is no need to be on 2-4 almost identical sites

Although they don't admit it outright, obviously, but some of the more 'public service' 'professinal service' companies out there, in fact nearly all of them, hesitate to employ you nowadays unless you are active on either Facebook or Myspace.

'Networking'; the new catchphrase. I know in the beauty industry it is required of you to have hundreds of fans pledging undying loyalty to you and ready to follow you to the ends of the earth for a facial or a haircut.

The truth is no-one was ever able to accomplish anything in the past. Only now is the world being built, jobs developing, man becoming truly civilised.

I did discover my family though. I had no idea I actually had a family, for real, until one of them found me on Facebook. Long story.

Facebook for me. I have friends overseas and it has been a great way to keep in touch and see what they are up to. I hate Myspace though. Because user can customise their page etc etc. This mean awful looking pages that take ages to load and are filled with gifs. Dont need to worry about that with Facebook. Everything is the same.

persona non grata
I don´t use any of the social network sites. I have a livejournal account but i only use it to post fanart and other graphic design related things.

facebook helps me stay in touch with friends, I hang out with blues and rock bands that use myspace, and even though its very helpful to them - Myspace is a bit of a corporate tool.
I will only say there are issues with things getting edited or deleted, and nothing else for fear of angering the corporate gods.
its one of those "can't do with out it" issues for an artist.
