@ doppelganger: It's my second car. The one I still have @ the moment until saturday is a Suziki swift and it really sucks but it was the only one I could afford @ the time
And about the reliability of Hyundai's, my parents have a Hyundai Lantra 1.6 GLS. They bought it new in 1996. It has run over 250.000km and they still drive it every day. They've never had any problems with it in all those years. The only costs they have is the usual maintenance and things that always wear such as tyres and brakes. I think that's pretty reliable.
Oh. and almost every car in the Netherlands has a manual gear shift. Automatics are not common here.
My big sister has a car with automatic transmission and I drove it once and it felt really weird not being able to shift gears myself.

My daughter bought a new Tiburion in 1997. Except for a broken exaust manifold(covered under warranty) the car ran well for over 125,000 miles and still was ok when she got rid of it. Good luck

i once bought a 92 chev cavalier with 100,000 miles and drove it till it had 350,000 miles
paid 200 bucks for the car and it still ran when i sold it for 100 bucks 5 years later
