So as many of you know, me = Indian guy (dot not feather).
Her = Puerto Rican

Today we were out and a group of people we met said that they have seen so many different couples and so much various mixtures but never in their lives have they seen or met an Indian guy - Latina girl couple. They said they know of couples where the guy is Indian and girl is White or maybe Asian, even know of an Indian married to a Black woman but never an Indian married to a Latina.

A lot of people on the internet who I chat with even say "I have never heard of that before".

Do you think we really might be the only type of couple like this?

If you ever known a couple like this before, do tell.

Well, my mum is from former Eastern Prussia (Now Poland) and my dad was from Northern Frisia.. So I am a mixed guy, or am I? And to make things worse, I was copper-ginger haired as a kid, so I looked real irish.

Don't worry, in the end, it's the love, not the race :)

I don’t think Frisia and East Prussia is really comparable to what he is talking about. You are basically talking about just East of Germany and just West of Germany ….both on the coast. What kind of mileage is that? 300 miles?

Don't know, what is that in kilometres ^^

Why does it matter? You seem to be obsessed with race and this will eventually lead to the downfall of your relationship. There are probably plenty of indians who have latina(o) partners but maybe they think nothing of it and don't make a big issue of it by plastering it all over internet forums. If a couple gels that's all the matters, if you're both obsessed by each others race then maybe you shouldn't be together.

This. I don't even see what race matters. Why is "interracial" even a topic of discussion? Its 2010, skin color/race/where you come from shouldn't matter. When will people just be people, instead of being indian people, brazilian people, african people, chinese people....people are just people!

So to answer your question - NO, you're not the only indian man dating a puerto rican woman. Like I said, its 2010, get over the fact that your gf was born in another country and focus on who she is and what she brings to your life.

STFU and start making some kick ass Curry Rice and Beans and keep it movin dude....:facepalm:

Why are you so wrapped up into this??? All of your threads have this same overdone-ass theme. We get it, you're very impressed with the fact that you're dating outside your race, and seemingly, your expectations. Just a clue...

We stopped giving a damn like two threads ago.

Based on your repeated attempts to gain props for this, I'm starting to think that either your relationship is imaginary, or this might be your first go-around with girls. Either way, chill off this shit. It really isn't amazing. You don't need to rehash the story. We don't care. Move foward.

Exactly what Spexy Ashleigh is saying. It sounds like you are very compatible, that you have strong feelings for her and she has the same for you. You are both comfortable in the relationship. As that is most important. Both of you can make each other smile and laugh. Have you and her had your first argument yet? How did it go? Did either of you cry and forgive each other? If you can do that, then you are on your way to a stronger bond than ever before. Put your individual selfish needs aside, and work together as one. A loving couple. Yes, it's what both of you can bring to the relationship.

Seems to me like only thing compatible is his imagination and keyboard.

:dunno:
